Panko Breadcrumbs
A simple but impressive salad
Make something a little different for your next lunchtime salad with this spicy and slightly crunchy Kani salad.

Ingredients
For the salad:
- 3 tbsps Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 8 crab/seafood Sticks
- 3 tbsp Spicy Mayo
- 2 tsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tsp Mirin
- 1 small cucumber (thinly sliced)
- Black Roasted Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- Add your oil to a frying pan on a medium heat and once the oil it heated, add in the panko breadcrumbs. Stir frequently to even coat the crumbs in oil and cook until golden then remove to a bowl to cool.
- To make the dressing, in a bowl stir together the spicy mayo, soy sauce, and mirin. Stir well until the ingredients are combined.
- Using forks or your hands, gently shred the seafood sticks and place in a bowl. Add in the sliced cucumber, and pour the dressing on top. Toss the ingredients together then add in the toasted panko and toss once more.
- Move your salad into a serving bowl and sprinkle black roasted sesame seeds on top. Enjoy!
