Taco Tuesday, sushi style.

Our tasty take on the viral sushi tacos!

Ingredients

  • Nori Sheets
  • Sushi Rice (cooked as per packet instructions)
  • 5 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 200g tinned tuna
  • 1 tbsp Sushi Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsp Spicy Mayo
  • Avocado (cubed)
  • Cucumber (cubed, optional)
  • White and Black Roasted Sesame Seeds
  • Wasabi Mayo (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add your tinned tuna into a bowl and pour in measures of Sushi Soy Sauce and Spicy Mayo, along with a pinch of salt. Mix and then set it aside in the fridge.
  2. Cut the Nori Sheets into circles. Spread a thin layer of Sushi Rice on each circle. Press down using your fingers to help it stick down. Spray the rice with oil.
  3. Place in the air fryer (creating a taco shape for each nori) and cook for 10-15 mins at 180C until crispy.
  4. Top with avocado and tuna mix. You can also add in diced cucumbers if you have them here.
  5. Sprinkle your tacos with White and Black Roasted Sesame Seeds, followed by any additional sauce drizzles. (We went with some more Sushi Soy Sauce, and a dollop of Wasabi Mayo!).
