Temaki sushi is a rolled cone of seaweed wrapped around sushi rice and fillings, which is ideal if you want sushi quickly at home! Particularly if you are a beginner, this is the ideal place to start.
Step 1
Take a whole sheet of nori and tear or cut it in half.
Step 2
With the rough side up, add sushi rice to fill one half of the half nori sheet. Then, add filling diagonally across the area of sushi rice.
Step 3
Fold the bottom left corner up and over the fillings, to begin to form the cone shape.
Step 4
Continue to roll the nori in a diagonal direction to make a cone shape, with the centre of the right edge being the point of the cone.
Step 5
Repeat as many times as you like, and enjoy while fresh!
